Easy to Draw Anime Characters Easy to Draw Anime Characters Sabashtion
Hello hello!
Today it is me Fabulash from AA Artist Society bringing you a tutorial on how to draw one of the hottest anime characters yet! (Okay, most are hot but Sebastian is top on my list) Sebastian Michaelis from Black Butler!
He nay seem like an unbelievably good looking butler to you, but he is so much more and so today, you can learn how to draw your own Sebastian! \(^o^)/
What you need!
• A picture of Sebastian, your favourite one of him!
• Your drawing stationary, if you are using a piece of paper and pencil or if you are using a tablet.
• A cool drink to help you relax while drawing this extremely hot character.
(≧∇≦)Let's Draw! (≧∇≦)
Step One:
Using your picture of Sebastian, work out the proportions of the face, head and neck on your piece of paper or tablet. I tend to work on tablet because it's easier for me personally but you can use whatever you like and the effect will be the same! Put lines on the head to show where abouts the eyes will be and where the centre of the face is. Anyone who is using pencils and paper, make sure to do your proportions lightly so they are easy to rub out later on!
Step Two:
Using a different colour, put on some of the features of the face so basically the eyes, nose and mouth. This can really depend on the picture that you are using but I always say, being simple goes a long way - so a simple image is always good!
Step Three:
A third colour now - this third colour to be used for the hair and even some of the clothing if you would like to add proportions of the clothing. Doing clothing is fairly simple and I would recommend just drawing the shoulders so then you roughly know where to draw the clothing.
Step Four:
Now that you have done all the proportions you can go over the different colours entirely with black. If you are using a tablet then you can fade out the proportions and then draw on top and if you are on paper, then you can just draw on top of the proportions and then rub out the proportions underneath. Once you have drawn over the proportions you can delete the proportions and/or rub them out.
Once you remove the proportions it should look a little something like this (unless you're using another picture!)
Step Five:
Time for the shading! Since shading is something that is naturally occurring and is basically on every character ever, you need to add the shading to make it look better. Now firstly I start to add shading on the head and the face. I always start at the top and then work my way down.
Step Six:
Now I've added the rest of the shading on the body and clothing, usually there isn't much unless there is hair around the body, or if the clothing is highly creased but shading is a simple task and can easily be done by just observing an image.
Step Seven:
Time to add colour now! Not that much considering Sebastian is quite a dark wearer. His hair is basically a very dark black colour, I tried different shades of greys and blacks because I try and avoid using black, but definitely use black for his hair!
Step Eight:
Colour in the rest of Sebastian and always try and get the closest and best colour as you can to every part of him. For example try and get a good colour close enough to his skin colour, finding the best matching skin colour is so difficult it's like looking for the perfect make up colour but you will get there some day. Sebastian is also pretty pale so finding a skin colour shouldn't be too hard for him.
And there you go! You should have ended up with a very hot, amazing looking Sebastian Michaelis (#blackbutler) and I guess you could call that #art (^_−)−☆
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on Sebastian and make sure to stay tuned on the AA Artist Society for me!
Thanks *\(^o^)/*
